Dr. David Testa has devoted his life's work to the field of Geriatric Medicine, specializing in the unique needs of patients as they age. As Medical Director of Passion Hospice, he brings decades of expertise in managing complex symptoms such as behaviors, breakthrough pain, and the delicate dynamics of the patient and family experience at the bedside. Dr. Testa’s approach is deeply rooted in compassion, clinical excellence, and personalized care planning. His presence provides both patients and their families with confidence and peace of mind, knowing they are receiving expert care from someone who understands the profound nuances of aging, serious illness, and the journey through hospice.

Megan Verburg
With over 25 years of experience in hospice care, Megan Verburg leads Passion Hospice with unwavering dedication to the highest standards of service and compassion. Her leadership philosophy is deeply personal — shaped by her own experiences caring for loved ones in hospice within her own home. These moments gave her a profound understanding of what families truly need during one of life’s most vulnerable times and ignited her lifelong passion to transform the hospice experience for others. Megan often reminds her team, “This is their only mom or dad,” reinforcing the sacred responsibility they carry with every patient and family they serve. She personally conducts ride-alongs with every staff member to ensure that Passion Hospice’s high standards are not only taught, but lived out in every encounter. Megan’s relentless commitment to quality, presence, and compassionate service has earned her a reputation as a sort of guru in the hospice field. Under her leadership, Passion Hospice is more than a provider — it is a promise that families will be met with the care, dignity, and excellence they deserve, every single day.

Jonathan Clark
Jonathan Clark's journey at Passion Hospice began at the bedside as a Certified Nursing Assistant. His devotion to patient care and his natural leadership abilities quickly distinguished him. Over time, Jonathan transitioned into community outreach and engagement, where his authentic passion for hospice work resonated deeply with families and facilities alike. Today, as Vice President of Advancement, he leads efforts to strengthen partnerships, deepen community connections, and expand the reach of Passion Hospice’s mission. Jonathan’s experience from the bedside to leadership ensures that every initiative remains rooted in the values of compassion, service, and excellence.
DIRECTOR OF PATIENT EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Zena Dantoni
Beginning her career as a Bereavement Counselor, Zena Dantoni has always placed the emotional and educational needs of patients and families at the heart of her work. As Director of Patient Experience and Education, she now shapes the education and ongoing training of Passion Hospice’s Nurses and CNAs. Through structured labs, skill-building sessions, and continuous professional development, Zena ensures that every caregiver is equipped with the knowledge and confidence to deliver exceptional care. Her focus on maintaining the highest standards of practice reflects Passion Hospice’s commitment to both clinical excellence and heartfelt service.
